Rathbone Investment Management has hired former Brewin Dolphin directors to open a new office in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Glasgow office will be led by investment director Angus Kerr, formerly of Brewin Dolphin, alongside Lindsay Strachan, who has been working from Rathbones’ Edinburgh base since December 2014.
The pair will be supported in Glasgow by former Brewin colleagues Susan Stevenson, Grant Pinkerton, Julie Smith and Elita Nanson, who will join at a later date.
The new office brings Rathbone’s total number of offices across UK and Channel Islands to 15.
Additionally, Rathbone plans to make further hires in the client-facing investment and account support teams over the coming months.
Rathbones CEO Philip Howell said: "Opening a new office in Glasgow reinforces our commitment to Scotland and will enable us to deliver our investment expertise to clients in the region in a very personal way.
