British wealth manager Towry has hired Martin Briggs, Cardiff-based IFA, to help broaden its reach into South Wales.

Martin Briggs has been running his financial advisory practice in Cardiff for over 20 years, developing a strong client base in South Wales. He has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.

Martin will initially be based at Towry’s Bristol office, from where he will continue to service clients in Cardiff and the surrounding area.

The expansion move comes as Towry plans to open a Cardiff office later in the year.

Andy Cowan, head of wealth advice at Towry, said: "Towry has been keen to establish a stronger presence in South Wales for some time and attracting Martin Briggs to join us fits well with our overall strategy.

"We see plenty of opportunity for further growth in the region and we intend to open a new Towry office in Cardiff later in the year," Cowan added.
