British asset management company Schroders has hired Antonia Lim as its head of quantamental investments.

In the newly created role, Lim will report to Schroders Systematic Investments (SSI) head Ashley Lester.

Lim most recently served as the global head of quantitative research at Barclays UK, a position she held for the past seven years.

Previously, she worked as the head of quantitative research at Kleinwort Benson. She is also part of the not-for-profit London Quant Group (LQG) management committee.

At Schroders, she will collaborate with the equities and SSI units to supervise the delivery of quantitative and fundamental investing solutions.

SSI is a unit of Schroders’ product, solutions and quant division. SSI has previously hired Kari Sigurdsson and Philipp Kauer as quantitative portfolio managers.
