British fund manager Schroders has made several changes to its senior leadership line-up.

The changes include the appointment of Charles Prideaux as the global head of investment.

In the newly-created position, Prideaux will be responsible for managing the firm’s investment platform, ESG team as well as the Data Insights Unit.

He has spent three decades in the industry and was previously tasked with managing Schroders’ Product and Solutions arm.

Johanna Kyrklund has been named the group CIO at Schroders.

She will monitor the firm’s investment performance and philosophy as CIO while retaining her existing responsibility of the global head of multi-asset investments.

Besides, Schroders hired Carolina Minio-Paluello from Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) to serve as its global head of product, solutions and quant.

In the new role, she will manage Schroders’ quantitative investment teams including QEP and Systematic Investments.

At LOIM, she served as the global head of solutions.

Additionally, CEO of Asia Pacific Lieven Debruyne will now assume the role of global head of distribution, replacing John Troiano who will retire at the end of 2019.

Troiano has been working at Schroders for 38 years.

Debruyne will retain his current role of Asia Pacific CEO till a replacement is found and then move to London from Hong Kong.
