The Skandia US Value fund will be merged into the Skandia US All Cap Value fund and the combined vehicle will be called the Old Mutual US Dividend fund. The fund will be managed by US-based affiliate company Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss (BHMS).

The Skandia European Equity and Skandia European Opportunities funds have been renamed as the Old Mutual European Equity fund. This fund will be managed by Kevin Lilley.

Meanwhile, fixed income head Stewart Cowely has been handed the Old Mutual Global Bond fund after it merged with the Skandia Global Bond fund, while Ian Heslop has been appointed manager of the Old Mutual Japanese Equity fund after it merged with the Skandia Global Equity fund.

Furthermore, OMGI has renamed all the funds in its offshore line as part of bringing together the Skandia Investment Group and Old Mutual Asset Managers UK businesses. The name changes will be reflected in the sub-funds of the range.
