Infocus has acquired financial advisory firms Announcer for an undisclosed sum, as part of its national growth strategy.

Founded in 1996 by Andrew Rocks, Announcer offers financial advice, mortgage broking and property advisory services in Sydney and Brisbane.

Following the deal, Announcer will be co-branded and identified as part of the Infocus Group.

Infocus said that Announcer will become the Sydney link in its national salaried advice strategy, joining existing offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Maroochydore and Townsville.

Even after the completion of the deal, all Announcer employees will remain with the business.

Rocks will become part of Infocus’ national leadership team reporting to the company’s managing director and CEO, Rod Bristow.
