Citibank has opened its first Citigold Private
Clients’ (CPC) Centre in China.

Based on West Nanjing Road, the outlet, also a
smart banking facility, will aim to provide a full range of
products to high net worth (HNW) clients with consumer and
commercial banking services.

The Citigold centre has been designed to meet
the needs of HNW individuals who hold a minimum of RMB8m
($1.26m).

Strengthening presence

The group now has 12 customer outlets in
Shanghai, where it first began business in China, and a total of 50
across China.

The China opening follows the launch of the
bank’s first EMEA CPC branch in Moscow, Russia in June.
