The REYL Group has announced its support for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as a part of its commitment to social responsibility.

A democratic union of organisations and experts, the IUCN has the shared goal of protecting and conserving nature.

Furthermore, through this commitment, REYL is supporting the Save Our Species programme. The operates globally to ensure the long-term survival of endangered species and their habitats.

In addition, it works with local communities dependent on the species or coexisting with them to reduce unsustainable dependence on natural resources.

The programme funds conservation organisations across the globe and since its launch in 2010, it has supported more than 110 civil society organisations in more than 75 countries.

Dr Jane Smart, global director of the IUCN Biodiversity Conservation Group, said: “We are delighted that the REYL Group are supporting us and our conservation work. Companies and individuals rely on nature to provide them with fundamental ecosystem services such as water, raw materials and climate regulation.

“Biodiversity is declining at a rate that is unprecedented in human history: human activity has severely altered more than 75% of the earth’s land and freshwater areas and 66% of the oceans. We therefore welcome REYL’s willingness to raise its voice within the financial sector to demonstrate that companies can be part of the solution and ensure that, collectively, we can stem biodiversity loss by the end of this decade.”

Jérôme Koechlin, REYL & Cie communications director, added: “We are proud of this commitment to the IUCN, which allows us to contribute to the protection of our environment, whether near or far. The REYL Group favours an innovative entrepreneurial approach: our support will enable promising projects to promote the survival of endangered species and protect biodiversity, by continuing to make those around us aware of this major challenge for future generations.”

This follows the REYL Group launch of its a new image campaign – “SUCCESS. TOGETHER.” – driven by the success of its clients and teams.

Goals of the brand positioning are to highlight the relationship between joint effort focused on a common objective and celebrate collective success.
