Bambos Hambi from Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) has joined Quilter Investors to serve as its new CEO and CIO.

Hambi succeeds Paul Simpson, who will retire from the industry in 2021.

“The business is now well-established following its rebrand back in 2018 and I am eager to work with the investment team and the executive committee in driving it through its next phase of growth,” Hambi stated.

Hambi has a financial career spanning more than three decades.

Early in his financial journey, Hambi had worked for 10 years at Quilter.

At ASI, he served as the head of multi-manager strategies.

Multi-asset solutions are an increasingly important part of advisers’ propositions for clients, particularly in these uncertain times.

“We look forward to working with Bambos and the investment team in continuing to deliver innovative and successful solutions to our clients.
