Janus Henderson Investors, a UK-based asset management company, has appointed Scott Steele as the new head of distribution in Asia.

Steele replaces Alexander Henderson, who will return to London. In the new role, Steele will be based in Singapore.

Previously, Steele served as the executive vice president and head of Hong Kong and Singapore global wealth management at Pacific Investment Management (PIMCO).

Janus Henderson was formed in 2017 through the merger between Janus Capital Group and Henderson Global Investors.

In December last year, Janus Henderson appointed George Maris and Alex Crooke as the co-heads of equities.

In February 2018, the company expanded its sales team with the appointments of Charley Smith and Mark Weir. Both of them were appointed to the newly created roles of institutional sales directors in the UK.
