Franco Morra has been appointed to succeed
Alexandre Zeller as the CEO of HSBC Private Bank (Suisse).

HSBC said Zeller leaves the bank to “pursue
other interests”.

In addition to being CEO of HSBC Private
Bank (Suisse), Morra will assume responsibility for the European
operations of HSBC’s private banking business, reporting to Krishna
Patel, CEO of HSBC global private banking.

Patel commented: “I would like to thank
Alexandre for the significant contribution he has made in building
our business in the region and to welcome Franco to his new
role.”

Morra joined HSBC global private banking in
October 2010 as head of private banking Switzerland.

Previously, he was CEO at UBS Switzerland.
Prior to UBS, Morra worked at Boston Consulting Group.
