Citi Wealth has expanded its alternatives and investment manager solutions (AIMS) leadership team, appointing Elizabeth McElherne as head of AIMS platform management.
She will report to Daniel O’Donnell, who leads alternatives and investment manager solutions at the firm.

McElherne’s remit will cover product management, product development and business execution.
She will join on 8 September and oversee the product lifecycle across global private equity, real estate, hedge funds, third-party mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and UCIT offerings.
According to Citi Wealth, McElherne brings more than 17 years of leadership experience in wealth management and private markets.
Before joining Citi Wealth, she was a founding member of Alchelyst and served as the firm’s global head of client solutions.
Alchelyst was established in partnership with Apollo Global Management and Motive Partners.
In that position, she was responsible for expanding the company’s general partner relationships on the commercial side.
Earlier in her career, McElherne held senior roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Apollo Global Management.
During that time, she worked on building and expanding wealth platforms for private markets distribution across NAM, EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
Her background also includes international work involving GP platforms, distribution partners and strategic projects.
The appointment comes after another recent senior hire by Citi Wealth.
Last month, the business named Alex Kokolis as head of investments platform experience.
Kokolis is scheduled to take up the post on 8 September 2026 and will be based in New York. He will report to Keith Glenfield, head of investment solutions.
Kokolis joins from MSCI, where he spent six years as global head of the wealth management client segment.
