SVG Investment Managers (SVGIM), soon to be GVO Investment Management, has appointed James Law as their new global equities analyst for their investment team.
Law, in this newly created role, will provide specific investment advice to SVGIM and their new majority holder, Hansa Aktiengesellschaft, a Swiss-based investor and holding company with more than US$1.8 billion in assets.

Before joining SVGIM, law worked as a senior associate at HgCapital, focussing on mid-market buyouts. Prior to that, he worked for a variety of companies including Atlantic Bridge Capital, Circle Partnership and Banc of America Securities.
