Dutch wealth manager Van Lanschot has collaborated with German digital banking solutions provider Fidor to upgrade its payments software and infrastructure.

Under the partnership, Fidor will manage user and account data of Van Lanschot.

At the same time, Fidor will process the wealth manager’s payments flows within its fidorOS platform as well as iOS and Android native mobile applications and a desktop internet banking platform front end.

Fidor said that its fidorOS platform will allow Van Lanschot to improve cost efficiencies, and reduce risks for the wealth manager to implement a costly infrastructure change on their back end.

The alliance will offer Van Lanschot clients access to a modern mobile payment app, on-us real-time payments, various accounts in multiple currencies, global money transfers, P2P transfers and special services for the Dutch market including iDEAL payments and Acceptgiro, the vendor said.

Van Lanschot member of the executive board Richard Bruens said: “This is an important step, as it will allow us over time to provide our clients with state-of-the-art payments services and products. In Fidor Solutions, we believe to have found the best partner to improve our offering and focus even more on our core business, wealth management.“
