Swiss banking group UBS has appointed Amy Lo and August Hatecke as the new co-heads for its wealth management operations in Asia Pacific, replacing Edmund Koh.

Koh was named as the new president for the Asia Pacific business this October. He also secured a seat on the group executive board.

Lo, Hatecke, and Koh will assume their new roles on 1 Jan 2019.

As co-head, Lo will be mainly responsible for the bank’s North Asia operations.

She previously served as the bank’s wealth management head in Greater China as well as country head in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Hatecke will focus on the bank’s Southeast Asia business in his new capacity.

UBS has reshuffled its wealth management leadership in several other markets this year.

Earlier this month, UBS appointed Jason Chandler as its new head of wealth management in the US. Chandler will succeed Brian Hull who will now become executive vice chairman for Americas.

Earlier this year, UBS names Heinrich Baer as the new head of its wealth management business in Luxembourg. Baer succeeds René Motta, who will relocate to Switzerland to assume a new role within the bank.
