Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) has named Leo Salom as the new group head of wealth management and TD Insurance as part of an executive reshuffle.

Salom currently serves as the executive vice president of wealth management at the group.

The bank also appointed Norie Campbell as the group head of customer and colleague experience. Campbell, currently group head and chief general counsel, will manage human resources, marketing, corporate and public affairs, financial crimes and fraud management, and enterprise projects in the new role.

Ellen Patterson, currently executive vice president and general counsel, will now assume the role of group head, general counsel, with responsibility for legal, compliance and anti-money laundering.

Michael Rhodes has been appointed as group head of innovation, technology and shared services. At present, Rhodes serves as the executive vice president at TD and head of consumer banking at its US unit. In the new role, he will oversee technology, digital and direct channels, enterprise data and analytics, and Canadian collections.

In addition, the bank also announced the retirement of Colleen Johnston, its group head of direct channels, technology, marketing and corporate and public affairs, in April 2018. Johnston spent around 14 years at TD.

The management changes will be effective from 1 November 2017 and all of them will report to TD Bank Group president and CEO Bharat Masrani.
