Baltimore-based investment manager T. Rowe Price Group has appointed Raymone Jackson as the global head of diversity and inclusion.

Jackson will assume the new role later this month and operate out of the firm’s Baltimore base.

He will be tasked with managing the company’s global diversity and inclusion strategy, existing diversity and inclusion programmes.

He will also play an integral role in devising new strategies to help the attraction, development, and retention of diverse associates.

He will work alongside the firm’s management committee, Black Leadership Council, employee-led business resource groups as well as other key stakeholders to execute these initiatives.

Jackson most recently worked as the national diversity officer for the wealth management businesses at Morgan Stanley.

He was responsible for developed the firm’s comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy covering 600 offices and a 20,000-strong workforce.

He also had a 17-year stint at Northwestern Mutual, where he was the director of diversity and inclusion and campus development.
