American investment manager T. Rowe Price Group has restructured the management line-up within its Global Investment Management Services (GIMS) unit in APAC and EMEA.

The firm named Scott Keller as the new head of GIMS division for EMEA. Keller joined T. Rowe Price in 2014 and currently heads GIMS APAC.

He will assume the new responsibility on 1 January 2019 and will be based in London. He will report to GIMS head Robert Higginbotham.

Keller has an experience of 20 years in the financial services sector, which includes a 17-year stint at UBS. He held various senior roles at UBS including head of Pan Asia APAC, and CFO of EMEA at UBS Global Asset Management.

Nick Trueman will replace Keller as head of GIMS in APAC.  Trueman joined T. Rowe Price in 2007 and currently serves as the head of Asia ex-Japan institutional.

Trueman previously worked at AXA Rosenberg Investment Management and Schroders.  Overall, he has an experience of 17 years in the investment industry.

In the new role, Trueman will report to Higginbotham and will be based in Singapore.

In addition, the firm appointed Elsie Chan as the head of GIMS for Asia ex-Japan, a newly created position.

Chan, who joined T. Rowe Price in 2015, currently serves as the head of GIMS for Asia ex-Japan intermediaries.

In the new role, she will manage institutional and intermediary businesses in the region.

She previously worked at UBS, Allianz Global Investors, BNP Paribas Asset Management, and BlackRock.

“Growth across EMEA and APAC remains a key strategic priority for the firm. With net inflows from these regions on positive trajectories and plans in place to expand client relationships and further our geographic diversification, these leadership appointments will enhance our ability to continue our progress while meeting the needs of our clients,” Higginbotham noted.
