Banque SYZ, a Swiss private banking boutique, has appointed Adrien Pichoud as its chief economist.

In the new role, Pichoud will report to Banque SYZ head of private banking investments Luc Filip.

Filip stated: “We are thrilled to welcome Adrien to the private banking side of SYZ.

“He brings a wealth of expertise, and his years of experience analysing the macroeconomic environment will benefit the next generation of investors and entrepreneurs we work with.”

Pichoud previously worked at SYZ Group, where he has been working since 2010. He started as a fixed income fund manager at the group.

At SYZ Asset Management, he previously was the chief economist and latterly the head of total return strategies.

Earlier, he was an economist with French brokerage firm Global Equities, a role he held for seven years.
