British investment management firm Smith & Williamson has appointed Daniel Casali as the new head of its investment strategy team.
Casali, who will take up the new responsibility in September 2017, has spent over 22 years on both the buy-side and sell-side across Europe and Asia.
He most recently served as the lead strategist for Hong Kong’s RAYS Absolute Return Fund. He previously also had stints at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch as well as at an investment strategy adviser offering macro investment ideas, portfolio strategy and global asset allocation.
Smith & Williamson co-CEO David Cobb said: “Daniel brings a wealth of experience, I am confident he will be a great asset to the business and I am delighted to welcome him to Smith & Williamson.”
