SEI has launched its associates programme to the UK Private Banking business, the SEI business unit behind the SEI Wealth Platform.

The leadership development programme, which was first launched in the US in 1992, has benefitted over 600 graduates giving them the opportunity to work within SEI, learning the skills needed to address the needs of a market undergoing technological change.

The company said that this year six applicants in the UK will undertake a two-year rotational placement, where they can work across a number of SEI’s private banking business sectors, including operations, IT, finance, sales, and relationship management.

The move follows the news that SEI will be relocating to new office space in the Alphabeta Building, Finsbury Square.

SEI Wealth Platform UK Private Banking commercial director Martin Steer said: "We have ambitious plans to continue the growth of our U.K. Private Banking business, but to do this we need to build a strong team across all levels.

"Our programme is structured in a way that will give associates the chance to see first-hand how we engage with our clients and, most importantly, how we help them address their needs in an era of fast-moving and complex technological change for the financial services sector.
