British fund manager Schroders has chosen technology firm Capriza to enhance digitisation across the firm.
The fund manager will use Capriza's Zapp capabilities to link and re-configure various core processes, including funds administration, sales, marketing and investment strategies.
The technology vendor said that its solution will help Schroders achieve its objection without extensive IT intervention and without virtually no re-training of modern users.
Capriza international vice president and general manager Russel Acton said: “There is no ‘rip and replace’ option for complex core systems, so Capriza’s ability to enhance customer service and increase efficiency by smartly reconnecting these systems is a winning proposition.”
The vendor further said that its technology will offer the fund manager a distinct competitive edge in asset management.
Schroders chief digital officer Graham Kellen said: “We have to deliver the highest levels of efficiency and responsiveness to our clients. This pursuit mean we cannot restrict ourselves to outdated technology. This investment in Capriza sends the clear signal that we are taking this challenge seriously and we see clear value for our clients globally.”
