British fund manager Schroders has appointed Henrik Jonsson as the new head of the Nordic region.

Jonsson will take up the new responsibility in the first quarter of 2018. He will join  from Fidelity International. Based in Stockholm, he will oversee Schroders’ Stockholm and Copenhagen offices.

Jonsson joined Fidelity in 2000 as a client relationship manager. During his tenure at Fidelity, he held several senior roles including head of institutional sales for the Nordic region and head of sales Nordic (excluding Denmark).

Schroders global head of distribution John Troiano said: “Henrik brings with him significant knowledge of the Nordic market and the specialist institutional and intermediary requirements in the region. We look forward to welcoming Henrik to Schroders next year.”
