Sanlam Private Wealth has opened a new office in Teesdale, Stockton on Tees to increase its presence and investment in the North of England.

The new North East office will offer a range of services including investment management, stockbroking to financial planning, retirement and tax planning services for clients, according to The Journal.

The new office, which marks as Sanlam’s second office in the North East, will be headed by Jonty Warneken and will include six investment and wealth experts, in addition to two support staff and a business development manager.

Warneken will also be responsible for managing development of the business.

Sanlam Private Wealth already has offices in Newcastle, Harrogate and Kirkby Lonsdale.
