REYL Group has appointed Christian Bauer as the new head of its Zurich branch, which the company claims to be ‘a fast-growing profitable contributor’ to the group since its establishment in 2011.

Bauer, who has over 24 years of experience in the banking space, will oversee the development of the Zurich branch in the wealth management area.

He will be responsible to promote all of the bank’s business lines as part of REYL’s 360 services offering strategy.

REYL Zurich caters to HNW clients residing in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with plans for expansion into its core growth markets.

The unit is said to have significantly contributed to REYL’s double-digit growth in assets under management (AUM) in each of the past ten years.

REYL partner and head of wealth management Lorenzo Torrepadula remarked that the Zurich branch a solid financial performer and a positive contributor to the culture of the entire REYL Group.

Bauer started his career in 1997 at Credit Suisse. He also worked for ABN AMRO Private Banking from 2006 and joined UBP in 2011 before becoming part of REYL in Zurich six years ago.
