Reyl & Cie – a Swiss private bank- has appointed Antoine Denaiffe as the new CEO of its Singapore business, replacing Nicolas Duchêne who will return to the bank’s Geneva base.

Denaiffe joined Reyl Singapore last year. He previously co-founded M&A advisory firm Partanea, investment firm Performance Capital, and technology platform Finquest.

Reyl & Cie CEO François Reyl said: “Antoine Denaiffe will work to ensure the continued strengthening of the Bank’s Asian activities in the areas of Wealth Management and Asset Management.

“With his appointment, we are able to maintain a strong leadership at REYL SINGAPORE, an affiliate which is ideally positioned to capitalise on the region’s extraordinary growth potential and entrepreneurial drive.”

At Geneva, Duchêne will oversee global transversal operational and business development work with deputy CEO Dominique Paladini.

Duchêne joined Reyl in 2009 and has helmed the Asia business since 2012. He was appointed as a partner at the firm in 2015.

He previously led the Asian tax advisory and wealth planning department at BNP Paribas. He also worked at Arthur Andersen in Luxembourg and Ferrier Lullin & Cie in Geneva.

In the new role, he will work alongside partners François Reyl, Pasha Bakhtiar, Christian Fringhian and Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula and will report to François Reyl.

The latest appointment comes shortly after the appointment of Nicolas Farah as the new CEO of the group’s UAE unit REYL Finance MEA.

Farah replaces Pasha Bakhtiar, who was recently appointed as the private bank’s new partner.
