RBC Wealth Management-U.S. has appointed Angie O'Leary to the newly created role of wealth planning head.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, she worked as the head of investment solutions for U.S. Bank Wealth Management, responsible for product management, desktop tools and digital investment capabilities.
O'Leary, who has more than 25 year of experience in financial services industry, previously also held senior roles at UBS and Piper Jaffray.
Commenting on the appointment, RBC Wealth Management-U.S. CEO Michael Armstrong said: "As head of Wealth Planning, Angie will ensure that we're giving our advisors the tools and support they need to bring those relationships to a new level."
RBC Wealth Management-U.S. head of the advice and solutions group Ann Senne said: "While we've historically had many areas working on wealth planning, Angie will lead a team solely focused on goals-based advice – namely deriving new insights and increasing our effectiveness so that we can deliver more customized solutions to our clients.”
