RBC Wealth Management has strengthened its presence in Pittsburgh by hiring five advisors with US$2.8 million in combined production.

The firm has recruited Russell Sherred, Pamela Pasterick, Ken Kuska, Kathleen Corrales and Matthew Lawrence, all are former Morgan Stanley advisors who oversaw a total US$380 million in client assets.

Sherred, who has nearly four decades of experience, began his career in 1976 at Elkins & Co., according to registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. In 1993, he moved to Citigroup, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2009.

A 17-year industry veteran, Pasterick began her career at Citigroup in 1996.

Kuska has just under three decades of experience and began his career in 1984 at Norbay securities. He moved to Citigroup in 1992 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2009.

Corrales, who has just shy of a decade’s experience, registered with Citigroup in 2005.

Lawrence began his career in 1992 and served with UBS PaineWebber before joining Citigroup in 2001.
