Raymond James & Associates has hired a team of six financial advisors in Portland, St. Louis and Dallas that managed nearly US$308 million in client assets under management.

Based in the firm’s Portland branch are a team of three advisors including Jason Saunders, vice president, investments, Stephanie E Kelly, associate vice president, investments and Kendall Acheson, financial advisor, according to On Wall Street.

The team has joined the Raymond James from Morgan Stanley and is known as Saunders Kelly Acheson Wealth Management.

However, joining the firm’s St. Louis branch is Alan Spilker, who serves as senior vice president, investments. Spilker has joined from Merrill Lynch and specializes in middle-market fixed income business.

Additionally, a team of three advisors including Anthony Vaccaro Jr and Bill Callis, both as vice presidents, investments as well as financial advisor Matt Ferrell will join the firm’s Sherry Lane office in Dallas.

Raymond James said that the Dallas team, which has formerly worked at Southwest Securities, will operate as the Advanced Planning Group of Raymond James.
