Judy Turner will lead the Private Bank of Decatur who helped to form Decatur First Bank in 1996 and had served as its president until it failed in 2011, American Banker stated.
Meanwhile, Melanie Funk and Jamie Ensley, ex- Decatur First bankers have also joined Private Bank of Decatur.

American Banker reported, Turner’s former bank, Decatur First, had lost roughly US$20 million in the three years after being hard hit by Georgia’s real estate downturn. The bank hence was taken over by Fidelity Southern in Atlanta in October 2011.
Charlie Crawford, chief executive and chairman of the Private Bank of Buckhead revealed that the new branch will open as soon as renovations to the location are completed.
