PraxisIFM agrees to buy PES to bolster position in The Netherlands

PraxisIFM owned Kompas International has agreed to acquire 100% of the issued share capital of Private Equity Services (Amsterdam) to further bolster its position in The Netherlands.

The acquisition comes close on the heels of PraxisIFM’s acquisition of Kompas International last month.

Private Equity Services (PES) has 20 offices in The Netherlands and the Caribbean and offers fiduciary services to alternative investment providers and international clients. It also specialises in corporate accounting activities.

Post acquisition, PES staff in The Netherlands will join Kompas and the combined entity will operate as PraxisIFM Amsterdam.

PraxisIFM said that the latest acquisition is in line the firm’s plans to expand its corporate and private client services.

The deal, whose financial terms are not disclosed, is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

PES managing director Jo de Haas said: “I think we can add greatly to the service offering of PraxisIFM in the Netherlands with our personal approach and our service experience. Being part of a larger organisation gives us many new opportunities.”
