Oppenheimer Asset Management, a unit of Oppenheimer Holdings, has named Bryan McKigney as its new president, effective April 15.
McKigney will be based out of the firm’s New York City headquarters. He has been working at Oppenheimer since the past 20 years, and served as chief operating officer of the firm for virtually this entire period.
Oppenheimer Holdings chairman of the board Albert Lowenthal said, "Bryan has a deep understanding of our Asset Management business and has held an important role in OAM for years. He has been given an important mandate to migrate our asset management platform to a new backend application that should only improve our service to our clients."
Oppenheimer and its affiliates offers a range of wealth management, securities brokerage and investment banking services to high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate executives, local governments, businesses as well as institutions.
