Old Mutual Wealth has recruited Jeremy Mugridge as the new head of proposition marketing for its UK platform, replacing Tom Hawkins who will now lead the firm’s team of office -based consultants.

Mugridge will be responsible for promoting the platform customer and adviser propositions in the UK and will report to the firm’s marketing director Michelle Andrews.

He previously worked at Old Mutual Wealth in various marketing roles and also served as marketing director at fintech firm, Instinct Studios.

He most recently served at Aegon, with responsibility for digital and investment consultancy projects.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeremy back to the team. With 2018 shaping up to be an important year for our platform and the wider platform market, his knowledge and understanding of digital design, the adviser market and platform products and services will be of tremendous benefit to our business,” Andrews noted.

Meanwhile, Hawkins, who has been working at Old Mutual Wealth since 17 years, will report to head of platform distribution, Tony Harris, in the new role.
