Swiss private bank Notenstein La Roche has appointed Patrick Furer as its new CEO, replacing Adrian Kunzi who will leave the bank after a tenure of six years.

Furer, currently the CFO/COO at Notenstein La Roche, will assume the new responsibility on 23 October 2017.

Furer previously worked as the COO and CEO at Morgan Stanley Switzerland, and was also in charge of the settlement and IT department at Raiffeisen Group.

Meanwhile, the bank’s general counsel Silvio Hutterli will replace Furer as business area head of finance on an interim basis.

Notenstein La Roche chairman of the board Patrick Gisel said: “Continuity is paramount for us. I am therefore very pleased that we were able to recruit Patrick Fürer for this function. In just a few months he has been able to gain the trust of the employees, the Executive Board and the Board of Directors.”
