Natixis IM deepens ESG push by rolling out new fund of funds range

Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) has introduced a range of Luxembourg-domiciled ESG fund of funds.

The UCITS fund range includes the Natixis ESG Conservative, Moderate and Dynamic funds with varying risk appetite.

It will have exposure to 14 funds from Natixis’ five affiliated managers.

The funds will go through a rigorous selection process, as each affiliate has its own ESG approach.

This involves a quant filter and a third-party assessment prior to qualitative assessments.

At present, the new range is available in Belgium, France, Netherlands and Spain.

More registrations are anticipated next month. Nicolas Bozetto will serve as the lead portfolio manager.

Natixis Investment Solutions head of multi-asset portfolio management James Beaumont said: “These funds give clients access to a wide range of ESG strategies across all asset classes in a risk-controlled manner.

“Our affiliates’ broad capabilities across the whole ESG spectrum give us an enviable breadth of investment opportunities, whilst having our process challenged by Natixis’s in-house ESG experts to stay true to our core beliefs.”

In a recent development, Natixis launched a Corporate & Investment Banking office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabiaafter obtaining a licence from the country’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA).

Operating as Natixis Saudi Arabia Investment Company, the new office will offer capital markets products and investment banking services.
