Muzinich, a fund manager has appointed Martin Gut as its new country head of Switzerland, with effect from 1 August 2018.

Gut, who has spent over three decades in the banking and finance sector, will now manage Muzinich’s institutional and wholesale segments of the Swiss market.

“Muzinich has had a strong, local presence in Switzerland since 2013 and I’m looking forward to working with the firm’s clients on corporate credit solutions in the years ahead,” Martin noted.

He previously held relationship management roles at Swiss Prime Site, BlackRock, and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

He also worked for over 20 years on the investment side at Credit Suisse as well as UBS.

Muzinich chairman and CEO George Muzinich said: “Switzerland is one of the firm’s key markets. Martin’s experience in asset management and his local network will further strengthen our long-term commitment to and future growth in Switzerland.”
