MilleniumAssociates, an international M&A and corporate finance advisory firm based in Switzerland and the UK, has named David Robins to its Global Advisory Board.

Robins joined MilleniumAssociates from ING Barings, where he worked as chairman and CEO. He has been for over 40 years in the financial services industry with assignments in the USA, Japan and Australia as well as Switzerland and the UK.

Prior to that, he has held roles at the Bank of England and 18 years with Philips & Drew and UBS, where he became head of Europe. He started his career at Sydney’s Commonwealth.

Also, Robins has previously served a number of non-executive board roles for financial services firms such as LCH Clearnet Ltd, Oriel Securities and the Asian Total Return Investment Company as well as in specialist engineering firm Meggit and technology firm Serralux.
