Wealth and succession planning solutions provider Lombard International Assurance has joined Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) as a full member.
With 272 active members, LPEA acts as a representative body of private equity and venture capital practitioners in the country.
The association promotes private equity and venture capital in Luxembourg. It also provides the members with a platform to exchange ideas through events and workshops, and get apprised about latest trends.
As a full member, Lombard International Assurance will participate in such events.
LPEA CEO Rajaa Mekouar said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lombard International Assurance as a full member. The company is a key player in its sector, across Europe and beyond, and actively promotes the integration of PE in its insurance portfolios.

Lombard International Assurance helps high net-worth investors in optimising their portfolio. As of 31 December 2019, the company had €48.4bn in assets under administration.
Its main offices are located in Philadelphia and Luxembourg, with presence in several other cities across the globe.
Earlier this month, Lombard International Assurance named Florent Albert as the managing director for its business in Europe.
It also launched a distance selling process in 12 European markets to provide support during Covid-19 pandemic.
