Light Street Capital Management, an investment management firm based in Palo Alto, California, has appointed Bill Nolan as its new head of business development.

Additionally, the company also announced that it will open an office in San Francisco, which will serve as a counterpart to its existing office in Palo Alto.

Nolan, who has nearly 30 years of industry experience, will be responsible for developing and expanding the firm’s business presence and relationships with investors.

Previously, he was head of marketing and investor relations at Passport Capital from 2008 to 2015, and held a similar role at Crosslink Capital from 1999 to 2007.
