Legal & General reshuffles senior management

UK-based financial services group Legal & General Group has named Kerrigan Procter as the new CEO of Legal & General Capital (LGC).

Procter currently serves as the CEO of Legal & General Retirement (LGR), a role he has held since 2013. Before leading LGR, Procter managed liability driven investments (LDI) within Legal & General Investment Management.

In addition, Laura Mason has been named as CEO of LGR Retail, while Chris Knight has been promoted to the role of CEO of LGR Institutional. Mason previously managed Legal & General’s Direct Investments, and prior to that managed investments for LGR.

Both Knight and Mason will become members of the group executive committee and will report to group CEO, Nigel Wilson. The management reshuffle will be effective 1 Januray 2018.

“Kerrigan, Laura and Chris are representative of the outstanding leadership we have at Legal & General. They combine extensive industry experience with intellectual rigour, and they are great team players. I have every confidence they will deliver terrific outcomes for all of our stakeholders,” Wilson noted.
