Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has appointed Dwight D. Jacobsen as a Managing Director and National Sales Manager in the US Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

Mr. Jacobsen, who has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience, will lead a team of professionals responsible for the sales and marketing of LAM’s investment strategies to the Financial Advisor community.

Working closely with FIG Co-Heads Jennifer Abate and Charles Burgdorf, Mr. Jacobsen will be responsible for setting and executing the growth and development strategy for FIG National Field Sales.

Based in New York, Mr. Jacobsen joins LAM from Dreyfus Investments/BNY Mellon, where he was Head of Intermediary Distribution. Previously, Mr. Jacobsen was head of Relationship Management and Strategic Alliances Group for Pioneer Investments, was Northeast Regional Sales Director for DWS Scudder Investments, and was a Managing Director at Putnam Investments.
