KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb), the parent of Brown Shipley, has named Colin Price as its new group COO and member of the Authorised Management Committee.

Price will be responsible for the supervision of support functions such as IT, operations, HR, marketing and real estate.

He will work with Eric Mansuy, who held the role of group COO and is now the group chief information technology & operations officer. Mansuy will now report to Price.

Price, a former partner at PwC and McKinsey,  set up his own boutique consultancy in 2014.

He also held the role of CEO at Heidrick Consulting and also served as visiting professor at Imperial College London.

He is also the associate fellow at the business school at Oxford University, Saïd Oxford.

KBL epb group CEO Jürg Zeltner said: “I have known Colin for many years, benefiting from his strategic insight as a trusted advisor.

“Together with Colin and Eric – who has demonstrated his ability to tackle the most complex technological and operational challenges – we will move forward rapidly and with purpose, cutting through complexity to deliver even greater value to every client we have the opportunity to serve.”

Earlier this month, KBL epb named Bill Street as its new group CIO, replacing Stefan Van Geyt.

Street joined from State Street Global Advisors, where he was the CIO for EMEA operations.

In May this year, KBL epb named ex-UBS Wealth Management head Jürg Zeltner as its new group CEO.
