Julius Baer COO Nic Dreckmann said: “We are pleased with the go-live in Asia, which is our second home market. Temenos’ WealthSuite is laying the operational and technical foundation for our growth in the region.

“After last year’s integration of the T24 platform in Luxembourg, this is the second major step in our effort to harmonise our IT landscape around the world.”

Julius Baer selected Temenos as its global partner for IT modernisation in 2015. The bank opted for the vendor’s T24 core banking platform to be used as the hub for its Asia operations.

Temenos regional director of Europe Steen Jensen said: “Key to Temenos being selected as Julius Baer’s partner for IT modernisation was our ability to deliver a progressive renovation project.”
