JTC has secured a registration status from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) which will allow it to offer professional services to third parties including corporate entities from the jurisdiction.

JTC, which set up a presence in Malta last year, is one of the first service providers in the region to be granted that status.

Following the approval of the status, JTC will be authorised to form companies and other legal entities, offer registered office, correspondence and address facilities to companies, act or arrange director, secretary or partner facilities to a company or legal entity.

The registration will also allow the company to undertake various other related services for a company, including accounting and day-to-day administration.

At the same time, JTC also plans to build on the company service provider registration and expand its range of services to include trustee services, administration of private foundations, administration of retirement schemes, asset management as well as fund administration.
