J.P. Morgan has appointed Oliver Gregson as its new private banking head for UK and Nordics markets.
Gregson will manage the firm’s UK and Nordics wealth management businesses and will also be responsible to drive the firm’s overall growth strategy.
He will be based in London and report to J.P. Morgan Private Bank Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) CEO Pablo Garnica.
Gregson most recently served as the head of Private Bank Investment Group at HSBC, with responsibility for spearheading the investment counselling, portfolio management, sales and trading and wealth advisory teams.
He previously worked at Barclays Wealth, with responsibility for managing sales, product and discretionary investments. He also held leadership roles at UBS Wealth Management and Citigroup Private Bank.
