Gearin will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and execution of JP Morgan RPS business operations, including oversight of operations and technology programs and initiatives, project management, and business management.
Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Gearin will report to David Musto, CEO of JP Morgan RPS.
Gearin joins JP Morgan Asset Management from the consulting group Knowledgent, where he most recently led its retirement practice.
Between 1983 and 2008, Gearin worked in the retirement and benefits outsourcing business at Fidelity Investments.
