Investcorp, a Bahrain-based alternative investment manager, has appointed Jan Erik Back as its new group CFO.
Back will join Investcorp in the middle of this year from SEB, where he was the executive vice president and CFO.

In his three decades long financial career, he also served as the executive vice president and CFO at Vattenfall, executive vice president and CFO at Skandia Group, and at Swedish bank Handelsbanken.
Investcorp executive chairman Mohammed Alardhi said: “We are delighted to welcome Jan Erik to Investcorp. He brings with him extensive experience of leading finance functions across the international financial services industry.
“This experience will be extremely valuable to ensure the first-class financial reporting standards and management that we strive for, continue to be delivered and adhered to.”
Investcorp has offices in Bahrain, New York, London, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, and Singapore, and a workforce of around of 390. The group managed $22.2bn in assets at the end of December 2017.
