Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management arm of French banking group Credit Agricole, has appointed Jacques Prost as its new CEO.

Prost, who has been working at Credit Agricole since 2000, will assume the new responsibility on 18 June 2018. He joined Credit Agricole in the role of head of structured finance for corporate and investment banking in Italy.

At Credit Agricole, he also served as the head of the real estate and hotels division in Paris, global head of structured finance, and deputy CEO of the corporate and investment banking unit.

At the same time, he serves as a management committee member of Credit Agricole S.A.

Prost previously worked in the corporate department at Credit Lyonnais in London and in the European real estate finance and project finance divisions at Banque Paribas.

“His experience in Corporate and Investment banking and his in-depth knowledge of Credit Agricole Group are major assets to develop the Wealth Management global business line, one of the components of the group’s strategy as a universal customer-focused bank,” Indosuez said in a statement.
