Global Prime Partners, a UK-based provider of prime brokerage and trading services, has launched a new structured products division, which will be initially available for UK onshore clients.
The new business will offer streamlined access to the issuers of structured products along with bespoke technology and tailored customer service.

The launch follows the appointment of Matt Robinson as head of structured products sales and Ross Trotman as head of structuring.
Global Prime Partners head of business development Mike Ward said: “We have been fortunate to work with a great panel of issuing banks and developed a bespoke structured products platform designed specifically for the needs of wealth managers. It’s exciting to bring this product to market and the initial reception from our clients has been extremely positive.”
At the same time, Ward also announced plans to introduce a new wealth solutions service in the second half of 2017.
The new wealth solution will offer an integrated clearing, custody and portfolio management platform for wealth managers, Ward noted.
