Vistra Group, a Hong Kong-based fund and corporate service provider, has named Simon Webster as its new CEO.
Webster will succeed Vistra’s outgoing CEO Alan Brown. His appointment will take effect on 7 November 2022.
In his new role, Webster, who is based in the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong, will be responsible for Vistra’s business across 47 jurisdictions worldwide.
Webster will also become a member of Vistra’s board once the company receives regulatory approval.
With more than 30 years of experience, Webster most recently worked as the group CEO of CPA Global, which offers intellectual property software, services, data and analytics.
Previously, he led various investment as well as offshoring and transformation projects throughout sales, product and support categories.
Vistra board chair Simon Hinshelwood said: “Vistra has grown exponentially over the past seven years, both organically and through strategic M&A, and has transformed into a truly global platform and enterprise.
“Alan Brown (our outgoing CEO) leaves us with the thanks of the Board for his significant role in this transformation.
“He has also been at the forefront of our journey to become the pre-eminent global player in our industry with a resilient, scalable, enterprise-wide technology platform that delivers expert services to organisations and enterprises operating across multiple jurisdictions.”
In March 2019, Vistra named Alan Brown as its group CEO. The company also appointed Geoff Weir as its new CFO.
